Seeking a Software Quality Assurance Tester responsible for creating, maintaining, modifying, and managing load and performance testing scripts for web applications. This individual should be able to communicate effectively with the development team to troubleshoot performance and scalability issues.

Responsibilities

1. Plan, design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, UFT etc
2. Design and build Performance Test Scripts and scenarios for online web applications based on Requirements
3. Create and execute load and performance tests using the testing tools
4. Define and develop performance test plans and automated scripts using standard testing tools
5. Execute performance test, analyse and evaluate test results, generate performance metric reports and provide recommendations
6. Work with functional Tester and Developers to ensure adequate coverage for upcoming releases and keep up-to date with system changes that impact performance testing
7. Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis
8. Strong understanding of Server, Network, Virtualization and Database concepts
9. Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, load testing concepts, types of system performance tests and their goals
10. Excellent communication skills. Must be attentive to detail, highly-organized, and able to multi-task
11. Expertise in performance testing of web services using LoadRunner and/or other load and performance testing tools such as WebLoad, LoadUI, LoadView etc.
12. Demonstrate strong and clear communication skills with the ability to collaborate with project manager, analysts, developers, Quality assurance team members and representatives from business in a collaborative environment

Skills

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline
2. 5+ years of Software Testing experience with strong background in QA and Testing in a multi-server environment. Including back-end and front-end testing activities
3. Relevant experience in developing and maintaining test automation suites using tools such as Selenium, UFT and/or other automation testing frameworks/tools such as Node.Js, Mocha, Chai, Karma, XUnit
4. Hands on experience in Angular application automation using tools like Protractor
5. Experience working with Continuous Integration tools like TeamCity, Octopus, Jenkins and strong understanding of builds, configuration, environment setup
6. Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Mantis, Bugzilla)
7. Experience with Visual Studio test management tools and/or Microsoft Test Manager a plus
8. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), quality assurance life cycle and testing methodologies
9. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a highly demanding environment
